Visit to Shepherd of the Hills Church in Guatemala City

The Augustinian Lutheran Church of Guatemala (ILAG) kicked off its October activities with a visit from Shepherd of the Hills Church, which took place from October 4 to 12.
During their stay in the city, the visiting delegation visited the Lutheran School (CLAG), where they were able to learn firsthand about the educational work that ILAG promotes as part of its commitment to the comprehensive education of children and youth.
Joint activities were also carried out with the MILAGRO program, creating opportunities for fellowship, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of Christian brotherhood. These activities allowed for the sharing of experiences, values, and actions focused on community service and support.
The visit falls within the areas of action of Education, Youth, Children, and Pastoral Leadership, strengthening the bonds of cooperation and communion between sister churches, always with Christ at the center of the mission.
The Augustinian Lutheran Church of Guatemala values these spaces for encounter that contribute to spiritual growth, human development, and the strengthening of its work in the communities it serves.
