La Iglesia Luterana Como Park visitó a sus hermanos y hermanas en Cristo en Santa Amelia, tuvieron la oportunidad de pasar tiempo de calidad, cocinando juntos, aprendiendo los unos de los otros, visitando hogares de la congregación en la aldea y juntos en servicio y adoración con la bendición de poder llevar a cabo dos bautizos en la misa y poder vivir juntos la prueba de la fe que nos une a pesar de la distancia.
The Como Park Lutheran Church visited their brothers and sisters in Christ in Santa Amelia. They had the opportunity to spend quality time together, cooking, learning from one another, visiting the homes of congregation members in the village, and coming together in service and worship. We were blessed to perform two baptisms during the service and to experience together the faith that unites us regardless of distance.
Visitaron la escuela de la aldea, en donde tuvieron una convivencia con los niños y niñas, con una refacción y algunos juegos divertidos.
También tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar la clínica que se encuentra cerca de la escuela, en donde realizaron la entrega de varios medicamentos, que son una bendición para todas las personas en la comunidad, quienes se quedaron con un profundo sentimiento de gratitud y honradez hacia nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Cristo que nos acompañan siempre con la fe que une nuestras almas.
They visited the village school, where they spent time with the children, enjoying a snack and playing some fun games.
They also visited the clinic located near the school, where they delivered various medical supplies—a blessing for everyone in the community. The people were left with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for our brothers and sisters in Christ, who always accompany us with the faith that unites our souls.
