Spring Garden Medical Team/CLAG and MILAGRO – Equipo Médico de Spring Garden con CLAG y MILAGRO
La Delegacion de Spring Garden visitó el Colegio Luterano, realizando una capacitación de primeros auxilios para las maestras. En esta actividad nos dividimos en grupos cada grupo encargado de un tema distinto para poder aprovechar en su totalidad el tiempo y para priorizar la comprensión de las maestras acerca del tema y resolver todas sus dudas, acorde a las necesidades de cada grado. Esto fue de mucha ayuda para el área de enfermería, para que en un futuro estemos preparados para poder apoyar a los niños y niñas.
The Spring Garden Delegation visited the Lutheran School to conduct a first-aid training workshop for teachers. During this activity, we divided into groups, with each group focusing on a different topic so that we could make the most of our time, prioritize the teachers’ understanding of the subject, and address all their questions, according to the needs of each grade level. This was very helpful for the nursing area, so that in the future we will be prepared to support the children.
De la misma manera tuvimos la oportunidad de tener un taller con las mujeres jóvenes del centro MILAGRO en el que, cada una pudo tener una consulta médica individual en la que pudieron expresar cualquier preocupación o pregunta acerca de su cuerpo con total libertad, y también tener su chequeo general. En este taller en dos grupos distintos abordamos temas de salud femenina, ciclo menstrual e información general, creando un espacio de confianza entre mujeres fuertes.
We also had the opportunity to hold a workshop with the young women at the MILAGRO center, where each participant received an individual medical consultation during which they could freely express any concerns or questions they had about their bodies, as well as have a general check-up. In this workshop, divided into two separate groups, we addressed topics related to women’s health, the menstrual cycle, and general information, creating a safe space for strong women to connect.
En ambas ocasiones, agradecemos la oportunidad de crear espacios en el que podemos interactuar unos con los otros, intercambiar contextos y tener espacios de diálogo sanos y constructivos.
