LCR / Leadership retreat – Visita de LCR / Retiro de liderazgo

We held our first leadership retreat of the year from February 6th to 8th, in partnership with the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, whose presence was a great source of support during this weekend. We spent the time learning from one another, sharing new experiences and ideas, and discussing topics of mutual interest with our brothers and sisters in Christ, thereby enriching our understanding. Lutheran Church of the Resurrection led a workshop on the role and importance of parish councils, which provided church leaders in Guatemala with new insights and a different perspective to help them continue their work in their communities.

We were blessed to hold a worship service together, hear God’s Word, sing as a community, and share this special time of faith.

Dimos lugar a nuestro primer retiro de líderes del año desde el 6 al 8 de febrero junto a la visita de la Iglesia Luterana La Resurrección quienes fueron de gran apoyo en este fin de semana que tuvimos para aprender unos de los otros, compartir nuevas experiencias, nuevos conceptos y compartir con nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Cristo acerca de temas de interés común enriqueciendo nuestro conocimiento. La iglesia luterana de la resurrección impartió un taller acerca de la función e importancia de Consejos parroquiales, lo cual les brindó un conocimiento y una perspectiva diferente a los líderes de las iglesias en Guatemala para poder continuar el trabajo en sus comunidades.

Tuvimos la dicha de poder tener un servicio juntos y escuchar la palabra de Dios, cantar en comunidad y compartir este tiempo especial de fe.
