Patriotic Ceremony: April nacional celebrations – Acto Cívico: Celebraciones nacionales de Abril
The fourth-grade students enthusiastically held their civic assembly, focusing on the celebrations taking place in Guatemala during the month of April, including Secretary’s Day, Earth Day, and Book Day. Through creative and well-prepared presentations, the children highlighted the importance of each of these dates, promoting values such as respect, care for the environment, and a love of reading. Commemorating these days helps strengthen cultural identity and fosters a greater understanding among students of their surroundings and the people who contribute to the development of society.

Los estudiantes de cuarto primaria realizaron con entusiasmo su acto cívico, abordando como tema principal las celebraciones del mes de abril en Guatemala, entre ellas el Día de la Secretaria, el Día de la Tierra y el Día del Libro. A través de presentaciones creativas y bien preparadas, los niños lograron resaltar la importancia de cada una de estas fechas, promoviendo valores como el respeto, el cuidado del medio ambiente y el amor por la lectura. Conmemorar estos días permite fortalecer la identidad cultural y fomenta en los estudiantes una mayor comprensión de su entorno y de las personas que contribuyen al desarrollo de la sociedad.

Es valioso que los estudiantes hayan investigado y profundizado en estos temas, ya que esto les permite comprender mejor su significado y aplicarlo en su vida cotidiana. Actividades como esta fomentan la curiosidad, el interés por aprender y el desarrollo de una mayor conciencia sobre su entorno. Tener presentes estas celebraciones ayuda a formar estudiantes más informados, sensibles y comprometidos con su comunidad y con el mundo que los rodea.
