Atonement visit CLAG
During their visit to CLAG, the visitors from Atonement had the opportunity to spend some special time with the teachers and students of the school community. As a token of affection and support, they presented gifts and useful supplies to the teachers, recognizing the important work they do every day in educating the children. This gesture was received with gratitude and joy, reminding everyone that, even from afar, there are people committed to supporting and strengthening the work being done in the community.
I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was the time of prayer shared with the teachers. Beyond cultural, language, or contextual differences, this time allowed us to reaffirm the bonds that unite the Christian community. Through prayer, we expressed our spiritual support, encouraging the teachers to continue their work with hope and reminding them that they have people praying for them and walking alongside them from different parts of the world. It was a moment of encouragement, faith, and connection that strengthened our sense of community and shared service.
The visit also included a creative activity with third- and fourth-grade students, who enthusiastically participated in making butterflies decorated with watercolors. They shared a story about the meaning of butterflies as a symbol of transformation, hope, and growth. Through this simple craft, the children were able to express their creativity while reflecting on the importance of positive change, dreams for the future, and the hope that endures even in difficult times. The students’ laughter, colors, and joy made this experience a special memory for all participants.

Durante la visita a CLAG los visitantes de Atonement tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir un tiempo especial con las maestras y estudiantes de la comunidad educativa. Como muestra de cariño y apoyo, entregaron obsequios y materiales útiles para las maestras, reconociendo la importante labor que realizan cada día en la formación de los niños y niñas. Este gesto fue recibido con gratitud y alegría, recordando que, aun a la distancia, existen personas comprometidas con acompañar y fortalecer el trabajo que se realiza en la comunidad.
Uno de los momentos más significativos de la jornada fue el tiempo de oración compartido con las maestras. Más allá de las diferencias culturales, de idioma o de contexto, este espacio permitió reafirmar los lazos que unen a la comunidad cristiana. A través de la oración, expresamos nuestro apoyo espiritual, animando a las docentes a continuar su labor con esperanza y recordándoles que cuentan con personas que oran por ellas y las acompañan desde distintos lugares del mundo. Fue un momento de aliento, fe y conexión que fortaleció el sentido de comunidad y servicio compartido.
La visita también incluyó una actividad creativa con los estudiantes de tercero y cuarto primaria, quienes participaron con entusiasmo en la elaboración de mariposas decoradas con acuarelas. Compartieron un cuento sobre el significado de las mariposas como símbolo de transformación, esperanza y crecimiento. A través de esta sencilla manualidad, los niños pudieron expresar su creatividad mientras reflexionaban sobre la importancia de los cambios positivos, los sueños para el futuro y la esperanza que permanece aun en los momentos difíciles. Las risas, los colores y la alegría de los estudiantes hicieron de esta experiencia un recuerdo especial para todos los participantes.
